-------------------------Information about the Texture pack--------------------------------------

The texture pack contains both the meshes and textures for the new dragon types and new armor sets.
It is 100% required to install the mod properly. Failing to install these files properly results in invisible dragons or armor sets.
The texture pack DOES NOT replace the vanilla dragon or item textures. You are free to download and install item/dragon textures
as you see fit. The texture pack only needs updating when a new dragon or armor variant is released.
Check the change log on the main page when updates are released.

(Click the "current version" number at the top of the main page to see the full change-log)

-------------------------------MANUAL INSTALLATION-------------------------------------------------

 1) - Locate the "data" folder in your Skyrim installation directory.
The file path should look like ".../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data")

 2) - Download the Main File & Extract it's contents somewhere on your HDD. Open Deadly Dragons
folder. Copy "DeadlyDragons.esm", your chosen difficulty, and any additional ".esp" files you wish to
     install into your data folder.

   DeadlyDragons.esm - main plugin
   DeadlyDragonsNormal.esp - Normal difficulty
   DeadlyDragonsHard.esp - Hard difficulty
   DeadlyDragonsHardcore.esp - Hardcore difficulty
DeadlyDragonsPISE.esp - PISE Weightened Dragons, compatible with Deadly Dragons.
DeadlyDragonsCraft.esp - Adds new armor & item drops to Dragon loot tables. Adds spellbooks to "Misc" catagory of the Forge.
   DeadlyDragonsCreature.esp - Strengthens some NPCs
DeadlyDragonsEF.esp - Flags any followers you have as "essential". Followers will not die.

 3) - Locate the "strings" folder inside your Skyrim/data folder. Then Copy/paste all of the the strings files of your language
      into this folder.

 4) - Download the texture pack & extract it's contents somewhere on your HDD.
Copy & paste the "textures" and "meshes" folders into the "data" folder, inside
   your Skyrim installation directory.

 5) - Go to launch Skryim through Steam. At the Skyrim launcher, click the "Data Files" option.
Check the "Load Loose files" box, at the bottom left corner. Then close.

 6) - FINISHEd, However, if this is the first time you have installed Deadly Dragons, it is highly recommended that you wait
16 to 31 days inside a player-owned home (or the qasmoke room) in order for the new dragons to appear in your game. This will
"reset your games "cells", and new dragons should appear normally.

NOTE(S): Only install ONE difficulty option. (You MUST choose one)

IMPORTANT!: If the "Load Loose Files" box in Skyrim Launcher is greyed out, you need to add...

   [Launcher]
   bEnableFileSelection=1

...to your SkyrimPref.ini file, inside in your My Games folder (C:\...\My Games\Skyrim),
NOT the skyrimprefs.ini file in the installation folder. This line may already be in your .ini file. Check to see if the
number is set to "1". If not, change it.

-------------------------------Uninstalling--------------------------------------------------------------

 Through the Nexus Mod Manager:

To uninstall the mod, deactivate the mod through the Nexus Mod Manager, and then click the red "X" button to delete the mod files completely.

To remove the texture pack manually, delete the following files from your Skyrim game directory.

 .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/fomod/info
 .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/meshes/actors/deadlydragons
 .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/meshes/armor/deadlydragons
 .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/meshes/delven

 .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/textures/armor/deadlydragons
 .../steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/data/textures/rmor/delven

To delete the main files manually, delete deadlydragons.esm, and any .esp plugins that were installed. Also delete
any "strings" files related to Deadly Dragons.

----------------------------------Updating-----------------------------------------------------------------

When updating to a newer version, always disable the current version first, and then delete it from your hard drive.
Then install the new version normally.

NOTE(s): Re-downloading the texture pack is only required when new dragons or armor textures are added. Or when meshes are changed.
Items added from Deadly Dragons -may- disappear when updating. Use the Command console to add them to your character again.

---------------------------------Optional Plugins---------------------------------------------------------------

When installing the mod through through the Nexus Mod manager, you're presented with several options. These options are
disabled by default, if any of these changes are something you want in your own game, you are free to use them.
With the exception of your difficulty .esp file, none of these plugins are required for the main mod. Some of these options
are in there early stages and have some minor issues. Everything is a work in progress.

Difficulty Options: "Normal", "Hard", and "Hardcore"

 - Normal mode: Doubles dragon health, dragons now have theme-appropriate elemental resistances, physical resistance (armor)
adds new dragons, and adds the new abilities to the "Ancient Dragon" types.

 - Hard & Hardcore mode: Triples dragon health. Dragons now have theme-appropriate elemental resistances, physical resistance (armor).
Dragons become immune to the "Impact" effect of destruction magic. "Hard" mode increases dragon damage by approximately 50%.
"Hardcore" increases dragon damage by approximately 100% over vanilla. The standard "Fire breath" attack now sets the player
and ground on fire, dealing a small amount of fire damage over time.

 - In Hardcore mode, fire type dragons have slightly less armor, but deal more damage.

(Hard & Hardcore plugins are recommended for experienced players who have level +30/50 characters and the proper equipment.
Elemental resistances are a necessity. I recommend at least 40% resistance to Fire & Frost to play on Hardcore.)

Dragon Weighting: - "Random" weighted dragons

 - With this plugin, you can encounter any type of dragon at any level.
However, your chances of encountering high or low level dragons are weighted based on your character level. It is very rare to
encounter high-level dragons at low levels, and vise-verse.

Drop/Craft: - New loot, craftable armor, and spellbooks

 - Dragons will now drop new alchemy items, soul shards, and a 75% chance to drop a new equipment piece. These items are all
stand-alone items, not just retextures of existing items. New equipment can either be enchanted yourself, or upgraded into
   a pre-enchanted version.

 - Soul shards are used to craft a "Dragon Soul gem", in the "Misc." category of the Blacksmith Forge. Functions as
a "Grand Soul gem", and is also used to upgrade armor to their enchanted versions.
 - Equipment can be upgraded to pre-enchanted versions at any forge, under the "Draugr" category.
 - Spellbooks can be crafted at the forge, under the "Misc." category.
- Unenchanted armor pieces can be reforged into different ones at the Smelter

(see images section for screenshots. Enchantment details below)

Creatures: - Buffs some standard creatures

 - This plugin alters the armor, damage, and in some cases resistances of various creatures.
Including Spriggans, Draugr,Skeletons, Falmer, Mammoths, Snow Bears, Chaurus', Dwemer Spiders, Dwemer Spheres.
Dwemer Centurions, Dwemer Automatons, and more.

 - "Dragonlings" are essentially adolescent dragons. They are considered "normal" creatures and do not give you dragon souls
when killed. Loot is similar to standard dragons. (Removed as of version 2.7)

Essential Followers (EF): - Flags any companions you have as "essential". Followers will -never- die with this.

Language: - Your chosen language package to install (strings files).

-----------------------------------Troubleshooting------------------------------------------------------------

Problem: New Dragons and/or items are invisible.
Cause: Texture or meshes files are not properly installed

Solution: See step #4 of the "Manual Installation" section of the readme.

Problem: Crashes to Desktop (CTD's) when launching the game.
Cause: Either your load order is incorrect, your "strings" files have not been properly installed,
or you have an incompatible mod.

Solution: 1) Verify you have installed your "strings" files correctly. Step #3 of manual installation instructions.
           2) Download and run "Better Oblivion Sorting Software" (BOSS) to achieve the desired load order of your various plugins.

If neither of these issues fixes your problem, you may have an incompatible mod. Make sure you have installed the mod
correctly first. If you are positive you have installed the mod correctly, post in the comments section and someone
will help you as soon as they have time.

           ( "BOSS" Located Here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6 )

Problem: Dragons sometimes do not give souls
Cause: This is mainly a minor vanilla issue. With no real "fix" at the moment. You will end up with tons of extra dragon souls
at one point anyway, so try not to let it ruin your day.

Solution: n/a, Possibly fixable through the Creation Kit?

Problem: New Dragons do not appear, randomly or on word-walls
Cause: World "cells" need to be reset.

Solution: You must "reset" all the cells in your game. To do this, wait or sleep inside a town for 11 OR 30 in-game days. Inside a player
owned home is ideal. Moving to the "coc qasmoke" testing room also works, type "coc riverwood" to exit.
Dragons will now appear normally. It may also help if you kill any current dragons that are already spawned at a word-wall
 	   you've discovered beforehand..

Problem: Dragons behave "weird". (Dragons fly slowly, attack random creatures instead of the player, fly around & are not hostile, etc)
Cause: These are vanilla issues. I've noted that Storm Dragons seem to suffer from the "slow flight" problem the most.
The cause for this is not currently known. Dragons attacking other creatures instead of the player is an A.I. issue with the
vanilla game. Deadly dragons has nothing to do with it.

Solution: n/a, Possibly fixable through the Creation Kit? "Pluto's Improved Skyrim Experience" mod may have a fix/update
for this once the Creation Kit is released.

Problem: Dragon/spell Sound effects endlessly loop
Cause: This is a rare bug. Can also happen in vanilla Skyrim.

Solution: If the sound does not stop playing after kill the dragon or fast-travel to a new location, make a -NEW- save, exit Skyrim
completely, and re-load your save game. If the sound is still there, you will have to load an older save file.

Problem: Dragons Do not drop new items
Cause: Improper installation or conflicting mods

Solution: Re-install the main files, and manually varify it has been installed correctly, also that your load order is correct,
and that you don't have any other mods that modify dragon loot.

---------------------------------------Common Questions----------------------------------------------------------

Question: Is there an option to change the vanilla dragons, but not add new dragons? Will you make one?
Answer: No, there is no option for this, nor are there any plans to add such an option at this time. The primary purpose of this mod
is to not only increase dragon difficulty, but add more variety to the experience.

Question: "X" difficulty is to hard/easy, will you add a new one? Or Change it?
Answer: There are no plans to add additional difficulty plugins at this time. Between the three difficulty options of Deadly Dragons
and Skyrims' built-in difficulty settings, there is no reason you can't find a difficulty that is enjoyable to you.
With that said, Deadly Dragons is supposed to be difficult, and provide the player with a challenge. However -CONSTRUCTIVE-
feedback is always welcome (and encouraged). Everyone plays Skyrim a little different, and everyone has there own preference
on how difficult they want there game to be. If you encounter something that you think is broken or over/underpowered, feel free
to voice your opinion. Just be sure you provide a clear & coherent explanation as to why you think so.

Question: Is Deadly Dragons compatible with Tytanis/Wars in Skyrim/ etc?
Answer: See "Conflicting Mods & Incompatibilities" below. If there is a mod that is incompatable with Deadly Dragons, it will be
noted in that section. Just be aware that mods that alter the same types of things as Deadly Dragons (dragons themselves),
or the optional plugins may cause conflicts.

Question: Does this mod alter dragon spawns?
Answer: Not at all. This mod only alters how strong the spawned dragons are, with a number of new dragons. Spawn rates and locations
are not altered in any way.

Question: I would like to change the included textures, can I change them to something else?
Answer: Absolutley. Besides the file location inside your data folder, replacing the included textures with different
ones works the same as installing any other texture replacer.

Question: Is Odahviing/Alduin affected by this mod?
Answer: Yes, Alduin has no new abilities but increased health. Odahviing has a extra breath attack that sets things on fire.
Paarthurnax is not affected however.. No real need to at the moment. If you decide to kill Paarthurnax.. Well... You're a jerk.

--------------------------------------Feedback & Reporting issues---------------------------------------------------

Constructive feedback is more than welcome and one of the reasons this mod has grown into what it is now.
Feel free to voice your opinion in a polite and constructive manner. If you don't like a particular feature of the
mod, or feel something should be adjusted. Say so, but provide a coherent explanation behind your reasoning. If you think
something is to hard or to easy, realize there are difficulty settings in both Skyrim and Deadly dragons. So you should be
able to find a setting that suits your syle of play.

Before you report an issue, be ABSOLUTLEY SURE you have installed the mod and texture pack correctly.
To minimize installation issues, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you install the main file through the Nexus mod manager.
The vast majority of reported issues are due to improper installation of the mod or incorrect load orders.
Both of these are outlined in the main page and here in the readme.
Also, see the "Troubleshooting" section of this readme. Explanations & fixes to the most common problems
can be found here. If a particular feature does not work correctly, delete Deadly Dragons, and re-install. The majority of isssues
can be solved by re-installing the mod.

-------------------------------------- Conflicting Mods & Incompatibilities-----------------------------------------------

		      Incompatible Mods List:

Wars in Skyrim IV: The "WiS IV - Races.esp" plugin conflicts with the "DeadlyDragonsCreature.esp" file. Use one file, but
the mods are otherwise fine, despite what the WiS IV authors claim.

Tytanis: Do not use Tytanis with Deadly Dragons.

This mod is by nature incompatible with other mods that change dragons in general, or affect the loot table of dragons.
An actual list is not available of writing this readme. If you think you've found an incompatible mod, please post
in the comments section so it can be investigated and documented.

-------------------------- Using the Command Console-------------------------------------------------------

Please use the elderscrolls wikipedia site for gernal console command usage and information.

 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_%28Skyrim%29

To find the ID number of an item or dragon., type: help "dragon/item name" 4
Example: To find the ID numbers of the Ruthless armor set, you would type: help "Ruthless" 4

Now that you have your ID numbers..

To additems to your inventory, type: player.additem itemid# quantity#
To spawn a dragon at your location, type: player.placeatme dragonID#
 Example Dragon spawn: player.placeatme 20F8113
 Example "Add item": Player.additem 5ace5 1

[IMPORTANT NOTE:] The missing two ID numbers, "xx", depend on your load order.. But in most cases they will be "02" or "20".
I sugguest you use the console "help" search function to find exactly.

P.S. The "?" signs mean nothing, these only appear in the readme when viewed on the main D.D. page @ the Nexus.
