                        Streamline v3.1
                The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion
               (Open Beta)  -  January 9th, 2008

===================================================================
  Installation
===================================================================

  1) Backup your Oblivion.ini file! This is located in:
     "My Documents\My Games\Oblivion". Streamline can and may
     make changes to this file based on what features you enable.
     So that you can revert to a clean copy later if needed,
     back it up now.

  2) If you have used Streamline before, remove the ESP file in
     your \data directory, and the \Streamline folder in the
     same directory. The old esp and folder contents no longer
     apply with v3.1 of the mod. Some of the old sl.ini settings
     may still apply with v3.1, so you can keep a copy of that
     file to refer to if you like, but do not use it with the
     new ESP.

  3) Install the most current release version of OBSE. Streamline
     will not run without this invaluable tool installed first.
     If you do not have it already, you can find it here:
      http://obse.silverlock.org

  4) Extract the Streamline archive contents directly to the
     "\Oblivion\data" directory where the game is installed.
     Alternatively you can extract the mod where you want, and
     copy the "Streamline 3.1.esp" and "Streamline" folders to
     your "\Oblivion\data" directory.

  5) Enable the Streamline esp through the "Data Files" button
     in the official game launcher, or via whatever management
     tool you run for Oblivion.

  Note: If you misplace either the ESP or the Streamline folder,
         the mod will refuse to initialize and run.

         You will know when OBSE and Streamline are correctly
         installed, when you load a game (or start a new one)
         and hear a bell sound along with a message in the
         upper left corner stating "Streamline Initialized".

  Mod Configuration   *IMPORTANT*
===================================================================

 It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you read the configuration readme
before starting up the mod for the first time. There are many
features and settings that you can (and should) customize before
running Oblivion with Streamline.

 Instructions for configuration of the mod can be found in the
file named "3-Configuration.txt", which is included in the
distribution package.

 FOR THE OPEN BETA: you may refer directly to the file included
named "4-Quik Config.txt", as it has some condensed instructions
on configuring Streamline for the first time.
