This readme refers to 'FileOne' of my Table Settings mod, which is a Modders resource.

Thanks for trying it out!

I will continue to build items for this mod, and in the future I will release the next set as 'FileTwo'. When this happens, I'll let you know, in the Table Settings post.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

To install: Drop the meshes and textures folders into the Oblivion\Data folder. There is no esp file. These are strictly the nif files and their related textures.

The file paths are the same ones that I use. For the meshes, it's Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Whitefang\TableSettings.
For the textures, it's
Oblivion\Data\Textures\Whitefang.

Activation:
Open the construction set and activate whichever mod that you're wanting to add these items to. Then in the 'object window' navigate to the static items located in the 'WorldObjects' section. Right click on any static item, and choose 'new' in the pop-up menu. A new menu will pop up, click on the bar that offers to 'add nif file'. Navigate to the nifs, in theTableSettings folder, using the path I noted earlier, and left click on whichever nif you want to open, then left click on the tab labeled 'open'. At this point the file path becomes the new nifs name. You can easily edit it here if you wish to. I usually take out the 'TableSettings' part, but leave the word 'Whitefang' at the beginning so all of my items are grouped together. That's all up to you. Next, left click on the 'OK' tab, and your new nif will be, alphbetically, in the static list. Drag it out, and position it as you would any other item. All of the items go here except the chairs that aren't marked as 'static' in the name I gave them...The static chairs are for looks only, so you can slide a chair under the table and an npc won't try to sit in it. They do have collision though.

***Now, the only items that go in another location, are the chairs that I did not name 'static'. To install them, navigate to the 'Furniture' section located under the 'WorldObjects'. Right click on any piece of furniture, and in the pop-up window choose new. Left click on the tab 'add nif file' then locate the chair you wish to add as furniture, from the 'TableSettings' folder. Left click on it, then left click the 'open' tab. The editor id name will once again appear as the file path, you can change it if you wish to, or it's ok to leave it as it is. I suggest, in the box marked just 'name' to just type simply 'chair' - this is what will show up in the game when your character targets it. Don't mess with the script, active marker, or quest box areas - leave them blank, and left click on the 'OK' tab.
A menu will come up saying there is no marker and it will ask you if you want to continue playing - Choose 'Yes'! Now the chair is in the furniture list, alphabetically. Drag it out, into the render window. Next, double left click on the chair, this will bring up the reference menu, left click on the 'edit base' tab. A new menu will pop-up, which offers you three choices as to where your character, or an npc, stands before sitting in the chair. I choose 'Sit 11' because it puts me to the left of the chair. Activate whichever ones that you want, then left click the 'OK' tab. If you don't like your choice, you can edit it again. The first time that my character sat in one of the chairs, he sat off to the side (I don't know why...) But, it has never happened again! So I don't know if you will experience the same thing the first time, or not, but I believe if you do, it will only happen once.

Things you may want to know:

If you try to remove doubles (vertices) from the napkins, champagne glasses, and the salad... it will create voids. The reason is, parts of them have two sides with the vertices so close to each other, that they read as doubles, but they aren't actually. A good example is the gold on the stem of the champagne glass, you see the texture on the outside, but you also see it on the inside as you look through the glass.

I made the lettuce leaves with alpha on the edges, so you should'nt change the material settings alpha slider, in nifskope, or they will become transparent or invisible.

Not all of the chairs have the same UV layout concerning the upholstery section, so if you are trying to retexture one and it's not looking right, it might easily work on one of the other chairs.

Some items take a few seconds to 'fall' in the CS, but when I'm in game, I have not gotten lag from being near them at all. Also, when you drop the napkins, check to make sure that the bottom of the cloth dosen't fall to low, into the table.

If you change a texture in Nifskope, be sure that the path starts with the word 'textures\' once you have changed it, or it will not work properly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess that's all I can think of at the moment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Feel free to use these items in your own mods, ...credit's always nice though.

I will be adding to these items...LOL, I'm not the fastest modder in the world though.

Thanks Again! and Happy Modding!
