Warning: this File contains some Spoilers below...

General hints:

- You can use the Rowboat at the bridge to travel between
Haldenshore and Seyda Neen's Silt Strider port.

- Sjorvar Seybold will take you to Ebonheart and back.
He also rows back to Haldenshore, if you use another
Boat to continue traveling e.g to Hla Oad.

- Horgoth the Smith will make better parying bracers
as time passes (at day 21 he will sell the ebony version)

- Don't try to cheat Varius Nuccus the loan shark.
After 7 days he sends an assassin after you.
The first time you sleep, you get a warning,
  the next time you die.

- Read the journal, some of the quests have a timeframe,
if you miss it, the quest is botched.

- Some of the later quests could get hard for a newbie thief.
Play the game as if Haldenshore is a part of it and
not just a addon you want to complete before moving on.

Town quests:

- Look for the thieves hideout in the southeast, go past the
swamp pool and stay at the shore to your left. The Entrance
is a trap door behind some trees.

- There are two keys to the hideout. One lying arround between
a bush and a tree near the water right after you've crossed
the swamp pool. The other key has a NPC named Cardius Felot,
that is wandering arround in Haldenshore (You need 50 Disp.)

- If you tell the guard, where the thieves hide, you won't
get any quests, and the thieves guild doesn't like traitors.
you won't be able to become Master thief...

- The stolen manuscript lies on a chest beside the Bed
of Mebestien Ence, the Trader in Pelagiad.

- To end the Bar brawl, just wait until one of them goes down
then talk to the other, he will attack you, as soon as you're
knocked out, the third of them will end the fight.

Thief quests:

- Get Habasis Permission: The sword lies in the Eastern
Guardtower on the uppermost floor at the top of a closet.

- Guard distraction in Ebonheart: First drop all stolen items,
then steal from one of the commoners near the three guards
at the bridge, until you're caught. Run away towards the
docks. When a message appears and the Journal gets updated
let the guard catch you and pay the fine.

- Tomb robbery: How to find Sarys Ancestral Tomb: from the
place west of Seyda Neen where the dead Tax collector lies,
go further west to a small spit leading south. From the
south tip of this spit, swim west to a small isle with trees.

- Steal back the book: the book is on the Table near the
  slave Rabbina.

- Get extravagant rings: you need only find one to solve
the quest, and you'll find one in the locked house beside
the guild. Each other ring will bring you 100 Drakes though.

- Drug recipe: The recipe is in a table at the lowest floor
of the Guardhouse. Read it with Quill, Ink and Paper in
your inventory to make a copy.

- Hlormaren: The book is on the table at the underground level
The guards there will become hostile, when you take it.

- Imperial Warehouse: When you enter the Council Chambers of
Castle Ebonheart, turn right and enter the next door (stairs
to a Tower). When you have the keystone amulet, a door will
  appear on the wall.

- Imperial Warehouse: The Goblet is in a chest in the Room
with the broken steam guardian, at the opposite corner.

- Treasure Ship: The informant in Gnisis is a guard that
walks around at the marketplace. Look for an black haired
Imperial without helmet, gloves, shield and skirt.

- Treasure ship: The only way to board it in Ebonheart
  is by jumping or Levitating.

- Treasure Ship: After it left Ebonheart, the door to the
cabin is unlocked. There you'll find the key to the
  lower decks.

- Zerdon imprisoned: Search Talaxias House, there are
two notes, one near the door, one in the chimney.
